This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Greetings!

Students will use these items to create a magical retelling of The Princess and the Pea.

They will learn to interpret Hans Christian Anderson's classical text and bring it to life on stage. They will employ public speaking skills, and elements of visual storytelling to create the comic moments required for the performance.

With over 100 actors in the cast, we will be making a lot of costumes. Having some ready-made pieces on hand will be a big help and boost our creativity! We can't wait to dive into the story telling with gusto.
