My Students
My students are bright, curious, and loving three and four-year-olds from a small, rural community. Over 75% of the students in our school qualify for free or reduced-price lunches. Even with limited financial resources, the students strive to do their best. They are eager to learn and a joy to teach.
Each day I look forward to helping my students become successful learners.
When I look into their smiling faces, I wonder how I can inspire them to become all they can be. I feel privileged to be one of the teachers to touch their lives.
My Project
Preschoolers need lots of opportunities to draw, write, and use their imagination to make art projects. With the supplies of different kinds of paper and magnetic erasers, my students will get the chance to do craft and writing projects on a daily basis.
When children use their imagination they grow and learn.
My classroom is set up with an art center. The students choose this center every day. They go through lots of paper supplies and use dry erase boards with erasers. Having enough different kinds of paper on hand and working dry erasers is necessary to encourage the children to keep creating to their hearts' content.
