My Students
My students are bright, fun-loving, enthusiastic, ready-to-learn preschoolers, ages 3-5-years old bursting with non-stop energy. I teach in a Pre-K Counts classroom with very supportive parents.
Preschool involves a lot of hands-on learning, social interaction, and managing emotions.
My students thrive on playing with one another, using all of their basic skills on a daily basis. They show a lot of interest in everything including books, blocks, puzzles, sensory toys, Dramatic Play and computers.
As their teacher, I want to give each and every one of them opportunities to shine! Be the star they deserve to be.
My Project
We have blocks, we have cars, but we don’t have tracks in our classroom. Block tracks are essential in every preschoolers’ life. It has the puzzle component, but the creativity part that’s missing.
My students will be able to figure out new ways to adjust and readjust the block tracks, and reconfigure what works and what doesn’t.
Problem-solving is key! They will learn to work together, as well as alone.
Also, the Dinosaur Bone measuring kit will add to the problem-solving as they will need precise measuring skills; measuring the length of the bones. A nice balance of toys for maximum learning.
