My Students

Our class is a group of vivacious, happy, and energetic first graders. We are learning so many new things every day. My students come with many learning styles and learning needs. Because of the diverse learning styles my students possess, it is important to find ways to challenge them or remediate skills on an individual basis.

We have a large class of 26 students which raises the need for smaller groups to differentiate instruction tailored to each child's unique need to help them reach their learning potential!

My Project

We are ready to take what we're learning on the road! Take Home Packs will allow my students and parents to participate in fun interactive activities while building important literacy skills! A Take Home Pack is not traditional "home-work" but rather a way for families to build communication within the home, build home/school rapport, give additional support or provide enrichment for their child, but most of all take an active role their child's education!

Take Home Packs will improve student literacy and readiness skills by allowing students and parents to practice skills in a natural environment.

Parents will be able to see the skills their children are learning and areas needing extra practice for academic success. Take Home Packs also provide needed resources in a convenient package to give parents everything they need to help their child with confidence!
