This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is located in an inner city neighborhood. Most of the students have two working parents and many speak a second language at home. The neighborhood our school is located in is a diverse, urban setting.

My students are eager young learners.

This school year will be their first exposure to a large public school. The children speak another language at home and are economically challenged. Most students get free lunch.

My students deserve to start their academic careers with as many opportunities as I can provide for them. They are curious and creative. They are full of questions and constantly exploring the world around them.

My Project

The math counters, journals, crayons and art materials will give my PreK students the proper materials to work from home. The circle time learning center chart and magnet sets will give me materials to use for remote PreK lessons.

Help me give my PreK students the proper materials they need to learn virtually and successfully at home during the pandemic.

My PreK students are the youngest learners in my school and need fun and hands on materials. Theses materials will provide additional engagement for Literacy and Mathematics through our virtual learning experiences.
