Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager and excited to learn as much as possible. The sight-word sentence builder activity is designed to encourage writing and reinforce grammar rules. The Splash! games give students the opportunity to work in small groups on a variety of skills like like rhyming, letter sounds and sight-words.
My students will become strong readers as they practice with language in a variety of ways!
The Spanish emergent readers will allow my English-learners to make connections to their primary language, which only strengthens their English fluency. The All-about-me posters are a fun way for students to write and verbally share about themselves.
