Help me give my students drafting chairs they need to meet professionally with clients, as they learn how to problem-solve, collaborate with their peers and community, and learn real-life skills useful in the workforce upon graduation.
Education Accelerated by Service and Technology is what our classroom is all about. Students determine problems in their community that they can solve, using the technology we have in the classroom. They often meet with clients in the room, to discuss what they can do for the client, create a game plan, and to collaborate with peers and our community. I love that my students are able to make a difference in their school, their community, and their world.
Seating for our drafting tables will enable students and clients to have a more comfortable, work-like atmosphere, simulating an environment they might enter into after graduation.
Our current seating does not enable all students and clients to sit comfortably, as the chairs we presently have are not of the right height.
