This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The laser engraving CNC machine provides my students hands-on creative learning opportunities. Students in my classes are required to have a work-based learning project that develops their skills in preparation for a career they are interested in. This will provide new possibilities to students who aren't quite sure what they would like to do or don't have the resources to start the projects they want.
Students will conduct a school-based enterprise where they will work with their peers to learn valuable workplace readiness skills.
They will have to design, market, and evaluate their enterprises and develop goals for their small businesses.
