This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Most of my kiddos are from a low economic status so sometimes it's a little harder for them to get into the groove of school and focus on learning.
My students reside in one of the biggest states in the U.
S. of A, Texas, and they're ready to learn!
My school's kiddos all get free breakfast, and 90% of them are eligible for free lunch. I want our students to not have to worry about not getting a good grade on their online test because their computer battery died or they've lost motivation. I love that even though my kiddos may struggle in reading or learning how to add or subtract they always are able to put a smile on their face for me when it's learning time!
My Project
These materials will help my kiddos in all areas of the school, from learning to earning! The pack of whiteboards will be used in my small group reading and writing circles. The poppers and velvet, silk, and stretchy headbands will be going straight to the school store so the boys and girls can get to earning. I just introduced the school store today to the kiddos and they are ready to earn some of their favorite things. What better motivator to learn than something the kids really love?
