This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every day is a learning opportunity in our classroom. Our students learn best through hands-on activities and manipulatives, especially when they are provided the open area of our classroom, which in fact is our carpet area. Our students enjoy spending time on our classroom carpet and through the years, our carpet area has received so much love. It has seen students grow and expand their learning and turn-taking abilities with the help of hands-on building materials. With that being said, our carpet and hands-on materials play such an important role and need replacing.

Help our students continue to engage and participate with other peers on a new carpet and with the use of hands-on manipulatives and help create opportunities to expand their turn-taking skills.

Our students are bright and highly motivated learners, especially when they are provided the opportunity to interact in an area with hands-on materials.
