Help me give my students the opportunity to take a break from screens, and participate in class with low-tech materials that will engage them, but not distract them from learning US History!

My Project

Using whiteboards for interactive low-tech games in a high school U.S. History classroom can significantly enhance learning by shifting students from passive absorption to active engagement. This method fosters critical thinking, collaboration, and deeper understanding—skills that go far beyond what students can simply “Google” or copy-paste. The primary objective is to give students experiences that are rooted in interaction, reasoning, and creativity—experiences they can't replicate by searching online. By using whiteboards and posters, learning becomes something students construct, not something they consume. It also creates the opportunity for instant feedback.
