My Project
Okay Sis! Is a creative youth development program designed to empower young females to develop healthy relationships and acquire the skills needed for post-secondary success. The goal of Okay Sis! Offers diverse opportunities and creates substantial programming to provide mentorship, skill-building, and meaningful fun to young women in grades 7-12.
At the beginning of the year, we host a welcome brunch where all the girls are provided with gift boxes of one being accepted to the program.
We want to throw an amazing and beautiful brunch to celebrate the young women and invite them into this amazing program. The welcome kits include snacks, supplies for a vision board, and other items to empower the students. For the brunch, we decorate the cafeteria and set up an amazing event where our students can celebrate, take photos together, and meet one another. We want to have a toast, and decorate the tables in a way that is really special. The supplies in our list will support this effort.
One of our first activities is creating vision boards where the girls can design a board to inspire them and motivate them throughout the year.
Your donation will cover the cost of creating their welcome kits and the decorations needed for our brunch.
