Support for our school’s Resource Room and Seahorse Closet

Aloha mai kākou,

At our school, we are deeply committed to the success and well-being of our students and their families. Recognizing the growing needs within our community, we recently established a resource center to provide essential support to our students.

Unfortunately, many of our children face significant challenges, including a lack of access to clean clothing and essential hygiene products. These barriers can impact their confidence and, in some cases, prevent them from attending school altogether.

Our resource center aims to bridge this gap by providing students with clothing, toiletries, and hygiene essentials, ensuring they have the resources needed to attend school with dignity and focus on their education. However, with over 75% of our 431 students living below the state poverty level, the demand for these critical supplies continues to grow, making it increasingly difficult to meet the needs of our students.

As the cost of living rises, securing ongoing support for the resource center has become a challenge. That is why I am reaching out today—we rely on the generosity of individuals and organizations like yours to sustain this vital initiative. Your support would make a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of our students, allowing them to come to school prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Together, we can ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
