My Project
I plan to use these materials for our entire grade level to hold our annual 'Ohana Day (Family Day). For this day, our students prepare by learning about their home in Hawaii by researching the flora and fauna we have here! After doing months of research and a field trip, we organize an event where families come to print Kihei with their children. The Kihei is worn at our school's May Day performance. A Kihei is a traditional garment that the students print with plants from our land. We will use the fabric and paint for this exciting and memorable occasion!
I also plan on using the various other materials, including ornament crafts, whiteboard supplies, and an electric pencil sharpener for holiday crafts and everyday learning.
