Help me give my students a year-long subscription to the computer program, ST Math, to present and teach mathematical concepts using JiJi the Penguin by using spatial and temporal reasoning.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students

My kids are passionate and creative. They love to curl up with a book and be transported into different worlds, from that of Pete the Cat to the Pyrenees Mountains.

My Project
With ST Math, my students will have access to a computer program which uses spatial and temporal reasoning to present and teach mathematical concepts using JiJi the Penguin. Each student will benefit in their math skills as the program offers an innovative visual approach to teaching math concepts, comprehensive courseware aligned to state standards, increased state standardized test scores, a game metaphor which engages students who have struggled with conventional approaches in math and learning, language-independent software lessons which reduce the language barrier to learning math, an instructional design that reaches students at EVERY level of academic proficiency, innovative games that train students in multi-step problem-solving, and self-paced instructional software that makes teaching easier and more productive.
ST Math will further immerse my kiddos in a richly interactive, hands-on and gesture-based learning experience.
With your help, my students will be able to build fluency with addition and multiplication math facts as well as build speed and accuracy with understanding.
