Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are an Inclusion based transitional kindergarten classroom, 10 students with special needs and 10 who are typically developing. In our class we constantly work to create an engaging and enriching learning environment that supports the developmental needs of our young students. As we strive to provide the best possible educational experience, there are specific items that will greatly enhance the classroom.
We would be incredibly grateful for the following items:
Android Tablets: These devices would be used for educational apps and activities to help our students develop basic digital literacy skills and engage in interactive learning.
Puzzles: Age-appropriate puzzles will support our students’ problem-solving skills, hand-eye coordination, and patience.
Sensory Toys: Items such as fidget toys, and sensory kits will help our students with focus, self-regulation, and sensory processing.
Blocks: These toys will promote imaginative play, social interaction, and language development, all while being enjoyable and fun for the children.
These donations will have a lasting impact on the students’ learning experience and provide them with the tools they need to grow and thrive.
