My students need "Oh the Places You'll Go!" with an iPad. You never know where you will go or what you will learn with kindergarten students who are so excited to learn and love using technology!

My Students

My class is full of inquisitive, and inspiring little people! They are curious and open to learning.

They are bubbly, energetic, and want to know about, frogs, dinosaurs, princesses, and how to build towers.

They are artists and imaginative! They know no limits! I want to make sure I give them as many learning opportunities as possible. We are in a small rural town, that has a cozy feel to it! I am very lucky to be able to say I love going to school every day!

My Project

Currently the only iPad I have for students to use is the one that I own. I gladly share it with my students all day long to work on handwriting practice, counting, addition and subtracting. They love to listen to stories, that they can choose and the iPad will read to them. They can play games that reinforce sight word recognition, letter identification, and letter sounds. I am requesting an iPad for my class.

As a group, we look up animals or access National Geographic clips to show real life animals in their habitats.

I use my iPad to support student learning in as many ways as possible. I have taken time to find games that target the specific skills I would like them to learn. What they will not be doing is playing games like Angry Birds or Temple Run.
