This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This group of students will be entering their first year of middle school in NYC. This item will be used to specifically give students an experience outside of New York. We will be reading and writing about topics that entail life experiences. We will use this item to give students the feeling of physically living in different areas of the world and visiting places in which we will be reading about.

Having some prior knowledge of what we will be reading about will allow my visual learners to become more involved and build more of an interest in the topics that will be covered throughout the year.

I believe this item will be make a huge difference in my students' learning this school year!
