My Students

My first grade students will be energetic, enthusiastic, young learners who will come to school each and every day seeing a world of endless possibilities. They do not see the world as it is, but what it can or could be.

My challenge is to help shape that sense of wonder.

These eager minds are looking to me to give clarity, direction, and definition. They are unknowingly trusting me to do everything possible to assist them with their incredible journeys.

My Project

The students in my class have a limited time to visit the library. A serious problem I continually encounter is a student telling me they have read all of their library books. This is, of course, music to my ears, but now my little friend has nothing to read! My current mission is to make sure my friends have an abundance of books at their fingertips.

Your donation will ensure the reading journeys of these students will not come to an end because they have finished their library book.

I want my students' imaginations to continue to travel to any place they wish to visit and to always have a "just right book" available. Please help me to create a classroom library for my students and oh, the places they will go!
