Help me give my students books to send off with them to end their first official school year in Pre-K! We would like to provide these books in hope to encourage their attendance up to graduation.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work at an all-day Pre-K Title I Campus; we serve nothing but early education! My students are 4-5 years old with active minds and bodies.
We are educating the minds of the next generation, a generation that we are setting a foundation for their educational lives.
Our students thrive through collaborative hands-on work with their bilingual partner, where they are given the chance to learn and teach their fellow classmates through conversation and play.
I am a part of the Dual Language Two-Way Program as the English side. I teach my group of native English speaking students in English Language Arts and my partner teacher has her group of native Spanish speaking students for Spanish Language Arts. We split our classes and combine them into bilingual groups. I then teach both groups Math in English and my partner teacher covers Science and Social Studies in Spanish.
My Project
At the end of our Pre-K year I would like to send my students home with a gift that is also for their parents as well. We all know that the better involved parents are in their child's education the greater the outcome. I am hoping with this small gesture it will get parents to think about their child's education and the plans they have in place for them. This book "Oh the Places You'll Go" is an iconic graduation gift in which I intend to leave a meaningful note to where they started out and my hopes and dreams for them as their teacher. For the parents there will be a note for them to have each teacher sign during their education journey. In the end they can share this as a gift on their graduation in 2032!
