Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most of the students in our class shine in a structured classroom environment using visual schedules, visual supports, sensory input, and multiple learning stations. Brightly colored books are visual supports that are an essential part of their learning experience.

Each week we have a new theme, and listening to colorful story books makes that those themes come alive!

The books I have chosen for my project will help our students learn all about multiple subjects. Some upcoming themes include Spring, Outer Space, and ABC Countdown “There are many little ways to enlarge your world. Love of books is the best of all.” – Jacqueline Kennedy. I love this quote because it sums up how I feel about books. I want to continue to share my love of books with my students. Thank you for reading about my students and their interests.
