My students need Expo markers, whiteboard cleaner, Germ-X, tissues, and disinfecting wipes to tide us over until the end of the year. Our biggest expense? Paper! We need to make lots of copies and have a limited budget.

My Students
PPA is an all-boys school centered around literacy, wellness, and character-building. Our boys come from all over Charleston County, SC. They are energetic, active, uproariously funny, and incredibly smart. They love technology, sports, and the arts.
We are a Title I school, and about 93% of our students come from low-income households.
We teach the boys that no matter where they come from, they are empowered to raise the bar and become young men of intellect, integrity, and compassion. Our boys wear a shirt and tie every day of the week and we address them as "Mister" and their last name.
Respect and brotherhood are what we are all about, and as a public charter school with limited funding, our boys need all the help you can spare!
My Project
We have one more quarter left in the school year and we've used almost all of our supplies. Many of the items in our classroom I have purchased myself. As a single mom of three (on a teacher's salary) funding classroom supplies isn't always easy, but the boys make it worthwhile. They deserve to have the basics and more.
Help us finish the year strong by ensuring we have everything we need to succeed.
We are in need of everyday essentials like: copy paper for morning work and weekly spiral reviews; Expo markers, whiteboard cleaner, and a new eraser to do written demonstrations on the whiteboard; Germ-X, tissues, and disinfecting wipes to combat those nasty cold and flu viruses; Glade air freshener spray to keep the class bathroom smelling fresh; pencils and pens for writing our thoughts and opinions clearly in our journals; and staples and a sorting tray to keep everyone's completed work organized.
Many thanks to you for your assistance. It takes a village!
