My Students

My band and choir classrooms are a place of budding musicians, laughter, and great camaraderie! This year, my students are looking forward to multiple performances with great musical experiences.

My students are 6th-8th grade musicians in a rural Michigan middle school.

They are excited to be in band and choir where they can learn about the beauty of music. My students enjoy the challenge of working together as a musical team to make something great! My students understand that music can bring people together.

My Project

This is a simple tool that allows us to pull brass mouthpieces out of the instrument when they get stuck. Brass mouthpieces have a tendency to get stuck, which is really unfortunate. It is a tough process to get the mouthpiece out of the instrument, and can sometimes be damaging to the instrument.

These mouthpiece pullers will allow us to take the mouthpieces out without damage to the instrument.

Our students will be so happy to know that their mouthpiece will be able to taken out easily! The mouthpiece puller will last for many years and it is something that won't need to be replaced if taken care of properly. Thank you in advance for your help to music classrooms!
