Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my district live in a 'naturally high" level of anxiety every day! It affects their clarity of mind and the ability to relax and learn! Having tools within the classroom for students to release the extra anxiety with calm-down manipulatives and a sound breathing machine would help! The discussion cards are not questions of the teacher and will be easily accepted and open up discussions to let students know they are not alone in their thoughts. The mirrors are for daily affirmations of self-encouragement.

Students who learn strategies to self-regulate will be more productive adults!
