My Students
Our school is a kindergarten through 8th-grade school in the Fairmount area of Philadelphia. Most of the special education students are bused to school. They are from all areas of Philadelphia. This project will benefit an amazing Autistic Support classroom. The students truly look forward to coming to school each day. They are eager and ready to learn! They also look forward to spending time with their peers. The classroom is one big family. We treat each other with love and respect. The classroom is like a home away from home.
My Project
I would like to begin the 2021-2022 school year with a clean start! Additional cleaning and sanitary supplies, such as sanitizing wipes, hand soap, sanitizing sprays and paper towels, will allow each child to have individualized access to their own sanitary products. Each child will have their own sanitizing wipes, and hand soap, in a caddy near their desk. Students will be able to sanitize surfaces and wash their hands regularly throughout the school day.
Students and staff will help to reduce the spread of germs by frequent hand washing and sanitizing high-touch areas throughout the school day!
