My Project
SC schools now have a no cellphone policy that restrict cellphone use during the school. Our tech savvy students must now find other hobbies besides strolling Tiktok, Snap, or texting friends throughout the day! Unplugging from devices now gives them more opportunities to pickup a good book to read. The more our students read, the better!
To motivate them to read, I would like to start an Off The Grid Challenge.
This will allow them to take some of to unplug from devices to pick up and book and read for about 20 minutes a day. Students who participate in the challenge will have an opportunity to win a Kindle at the end of the school year. The top two readers will receive a Kindle to begin their summer with a device to read on.
