This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Of Mice and Men is a phenomenal text to support racial justice. Teenagers can explore racial justice through the characters in John Steinbeck's iconic text Of Mice and Men. Conversations regarding race, racial justice, and representation will be had daily through Socratic Seminars and class discussions.
The ability to discuss the ideas in this book is life changing!
Students will be exploring meaningful thoughts and ideas based on these characters and linking the book to the world in which we currently live. Thank you for helping this dream project come to life!
