Of Mice and Memory - Help Us Use Our Chromebooks

My students need some materials to fully utilize their Chromebooks (and desktop computers)-a mouse for ease of use, mouse pads and a flash drive to save work completed. The ease of printing will do wonders for us.

My Students

My students are from an inner city section of Cleveland, known for not the safest streets. We focus on making safety one of our top concerns at school; because a feeling of safety allows you to focus on learning while at school.

My students are 4th and 5th graders just trying to succeed in education with obstacles that we are trying to overcome to match our counterparts in more affluent areas.

I would like my students to be able to learn modern uses for technology, such as Google Docs and online storage to be ready for future careers.

My Project

My students are extremely appreciative of the Chromebooks and headphones that were donated. We are now looking to get the most out of our technology.

A mouse and mouse pad for each Chromebook to make using them a tad easier and user friendly for the 4th and 5th grade students.

Also, a flash drive for each of the 8 available student computers to save work done in class, and to make printing the saved work much easier as our copier/printer allows a flash drive to be inserted.

We are also asking for graph paper to make our math and science tasks that require making a graph or chart easier to produce; and better to display.
