My Project

Hello and thanks for your consideration!

I am an occupational therapist serving students with special needs, grades Pre-K through high school.

School OTs are very important members of the education team. We help children fulfill their role as students by supporting their fine motor, visual motor, visual perceptual, and sensory processing skills, which are the foundation of many tasks and skills a student needs to perform throughout their busy days.

Kids who receive OT really benefit from adapted tools such as scissors, eating utensils, and sensory tools. As an OT who works in a large district and between three different buildings, I often make suggestions to parents and teachers to purchase equipment that can be expensive. Having some supplies on hand to test-drive and/or provide to teachers and families can help save costs.
