My Project
My name is Kristen Kaler and I have been teaching 7th and 8th-grade math in Queens, NY, for 10 years. This is a Title I middle school in NYC. I absolutely love my students and what I do.
My students sit every year for two state exams: ELA and math.
These tests are each two days long and last for hours. It has been proven that giving students snacks and refreshments throughout a test can keep their focus and motivate them. I would absolutely love to be able to provide snacks to all of my students for the two days they sit for the math exam.
