it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please consider donating to my project to give my students the opportunity to experience frog dissection. I am an 8th-grade science teacher at a middle school in Brooklyn, NY. My students are in an advanced-level science course and a majority of them are from low-income households. My thought is that if my students see and feel these organ systems for themselves, they will take more out of this lesson than if I just lectured about it. My hope for this opportunity is to instill a love and passion for science and possibly inspire them to pursue a career in medicine.
