Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I was on the internet one night at home, just bored. I was thinking about how many of my students sometimes struggle at sports but are very good at games I create to lead up the sport. I was also thinking about what games I can do besides the couple I have to include: Nutrition in Physical Education. I thought about combining two games into one.
There is a new game called Skatterball, which involves escaping in teams in order not to get tagged, and I want to combine it with a Nutrition game about food groups.
The students must grab plastic foods to evade the other kids who are "it" or "taggers." This will help with Physical Fitness, inclusion because everyone can play, and healthy food choices.
