My Students
The students we serve are sweet and loving little personalities, they come from low-income neighborhoods. Our focus is to get and keep them healthy while in our care and when at home. We cater to the children's nutritional health to help prevent health issues such as obesity, heart disease, high blood pressure, and type 2 diabetes. Healthy eating habits are more likely to stay with you if you learn them as a child.
My Project
With the outbreak of the COVID-19 among school-age kids a lot of the centers are closed often. So we do a lot of learning through Zoom. With the help of the tablet, I will be able to teach the kids the proper nutrition they can follow while they’re at home they can also learn the proper foods they should try to eat while at home and learn the nutrition value of each food group. I can also show them the proper time they should try to eat and what food mixture they should have for breakfast lunch and dinner.
