Each of these pocket charts would help me to reach my first grade students in different ways when teaching math and number concepts. I would use the calendar pocket chart to help teach and talk with my students about the days of the week every morning. I would use the place value pocket chart to help students understand the concept of place value and how to use that going forward to strengthen their math knowledge. I would use the sentence frame pocket charts as a daily "student check in" where the students will be able to display their work/answers to daily questions or skills that we are working on. I would use the 100 number chart to help my students focus on counting skills as well as strengthening skills using place value, addition, and subtraction to help them build onto future math concepts.
The number line white boards would be used to help my students learn the concepts of addition and subtraction.
Having a tool like this will help give the students a good visual of these math concepts and can help to reach those students who struggle and need more visual, tangible ways of learning math skills.
