Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Save some trees and help my students practice their printing at the same time. My students need dry-erase boards that we can use on a daily basis to practice various Pre-K skills.
My Pre-K students are energetic and curious four year olds.
They enjoy coming to school and are learning new skills every day. They attend a public Pre-K through 6th grade school. The majority of my students are from low socioeconomic status families and qualify for free lunch.
My Project
These markers, erasers, and dry erase white boards will help my students practice printing on a daily basis. As Pre-K students my students are just learning how to print and write words and the whiteboards will help them practice and reinforce these concepts. Furthermore, the whiteboards will help to motivate the students to practice literacy skills like word recognition because they will be able to use markers of different colors and erase easily.
Donations to this request will make a difference in the daily lives of my students.
It will give my students the tools they need to practice essential Pre-K skills such as printing.
