Help me give my students teaching tubs of activities and games to support pre-reading skills necessary for Kindergarten!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Hang's classroom raised $535

My Students
I teach 4 to 5-year-olds who are energetic and full of life! Most of them have little to no prior school experience and come from very diverse backgrounds; however, despite their backgrounds, my students come to school every day doing their best and giving it their all. They are developing a love for learning and gaining lifelong skills to prepare them for future success.
By creating a classroom environment that fosters a love for learning, I can nurture their curiosity and prepare them for the next step in their education.
My students love to sing, dance, build, and socialize. They also enjoy playing games and can get very competitive.
My Project
So much learning goes on in a Pre-K classroom and a lot of it is done through play. I want to continue to support the growth and learning that occurs in my classroom by providing fun, educational resources that reinforce phonological awareness skills taught during large and small groups.
Help me make learning fun by providing engaging materials and games that strengthen phonological awareness skills and develop those pre-reading skills necessary for kindergarten!
I will be able to utilize the materials during my small and large groups to model and scaffold the skills being taught, then place the materials in my learning centers. This will allow children to explore these materials during choice time to apply their learning.
