My Students
I miss all my students and hope that we will be back in school when it is safe! I have art classes and students who are using art to communicate many feelings.
My students are imaginative and fun-loving kids.
They come from low-income households and have not had much experience with the world outside their community.
With distance learning, I need to be able to show students what I am doing, it is hard to explain an art process without a camera, my school is not able to support my need for a camera at home.
My Project
My students have been working incredibly hard using the assignments that I have given them with Google Classroom. What would be better for them , however, would be for them to have video lessons from me in the classroom.
I have not had a document camera to allow students to see my lessons.
By supporting my students in distance learning I am able to help them find ways to express themselves through art. My students have been happy to have art lessons continue during this time at home and throuhg the summer!
