My Students

My students are stellar, hard-working leaders that do their best to accomplish any task at hand. They are constantly looking for answers to questions and questioning the answers they get in order to gain an even deeper knowledge of the content. They truly find joy in the learning process and are eager to further their own depth of knowledge.

My students are very caring and thoughtful individuals who watch out for one another and are constantly looking to support one another academically and socially.

We have a very strong learning community that cares about each individual person within our classroom and that is all thanks to my fantastic students because of who they are. My students make our classroom an engaging and fun place to learn every single day.

My Project

I have a few times throughout the day where my students rotate through centers and some of that time is spent on various software that is adapted to their specific needs. If my students had headphones, it would allow them to be able to hear their own software instead of their neighbors. This would make it easier for them to focus and increase their confidence in the work that they are doing. It would also allow for a more conducive learning environment as a whole if students that are working on technology free activities can't hear the several voices coming out of the Chromebooks in the room.

Having a class set of headphones will help my students be able to better focus during independent work time and get the individualized help through software that they need in addition to my instruction.

My students love the software we use and truly enjoy their time spent on it, but they often have a difficult time hearing their own program right now. Giving them the opportunity to have full access to all of the capabilities of the software will help them understand the power that they have and everything they can do because of the potential within themselves. I believe every student should have as many opportunities as they can in their educational journey and getting my students headphones will reaffirm this to them.
