Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'd like to revolutionize the way that my health science students retain the copious amounts of health information given to them from our curriculum. My goal is to make lecture interesting by relating to real life AND fictional characters in a novel. These authors can do a much better job than I with telling a story. I want to see the theoretical light bulbs going off above my students' heads after reading a chapter or two from one of these books. My dream is to have a class set of each one of these books, but starting with this amount will help me on my journey to creating a love for reading, even in the healthcare field.
