My Project
I teach 10th and 11th grade English. Both grades are completing novel studies for this last month of school. The 10th graders are reading an Agatha Christie novel, And Then There Were None. The 11th graders have all chosen their own novels from the school library.
I am asking for supplies for both grade levels as they complete multiple assignments about their novels.
They will be drawing plot diagrams, and character charts, both individually and in groups. I want to add some fun colors to our charts so we can hang them in the classroom and on the hallway wall!
We will use Post-Its on anchor charts to vote for the culprit in And Then There Were None. I have a lot of chalkboards and dry-erase boards in my classroom that I will let students use as they complete their plot diagrams. The stickers are for me to give encouraging feedback on their work. Even though these are high school students, they often beg me for stickers!
