My Students
The students in this school are from a very underprivileged area. They are dedicated to doing their best so they can go to college. They are all from low-income homes, and all receive free lunch and breakfast. They deserve the same opportunities as every other student. DonorsChoose can help provide them with some of those opportunities that I cannot afford to provide them with on my own. These students are more than capable of anything they set their mind on!
My Project
This project is something near and dear to my heart! My students are wonderful readers this year! We have been doing such a wonderful job with making sure we read every day. They love when they get the chance to sit and read by themselves, but they especially love when they get the chance to read as a class.
There is something so special about connecting with a book as a class.
This project will provide us with two class sets of highly recommended books! We are excited to put these novels to use, and really come together as a class.
