This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students enter my class each day to learn French. However, in southern California, they often have limited exposure to French culture, cuisine, and especially French literature.
I strive to create an environment that encourages my students to learn and use the target language, French, as much as possible.
Often, the only time these students communicate in French is in my classroom. So I do my best to offer them a place to learn that is conducive to them as high school students.
My Project
Students will use these materials daily! These resources will help the class begin second semester ready to learn French in new engaging ways. While some of these resources are basic like Kleenex, marker container, or ballpoint pens, this project will give the students a renewed purpose to continue their progress inside the French class. This includes basic things like ballpoint pens and tissues. Also I included items to decorate my classroom and to engage them like Jenga.
