My Project
There's a strong correlation between hunger and academic performance. Not only does hunger affect how students perform academically, but hunger can also lead to an increase in behavioral challenges, suspensions, and school absences.
I have built strong relationships with my students so that they don't feel embarrassed to come to me and ask for something they need.
School should be a safe place where all students' needs are met.
Please consider helping to stock my classroom with food items so I can ensure that all students have something to eat throughout the long school day.
