This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We need your help to equip our students and their families with the tools to create delicious and nutritious recipes at school. With your support, we can provide essential kitchen supplies such as child-safe knives, a portable electric burner, storage bags for leftovers, cleaning supplies for a safe cooking environment, and various kitchen tools like mixers and salad spinners. These materials will enable students to safely prepare healthy dishes and bring home food to share with their loved ones.

Through this hands-on cooking experience, our students will gain invaluable life skills, master math and reading as they follow recipes, and become mini chefs who can create exciting menu items.

Imagine the joy and pride they'll feel in cooking nutritious meals and the lasting impact this will have on their families' health and well-being.
