This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our after-school mental health and reading club, we strive to create a safe and supportive space where students can explore their emotions and foster a love for reading. Our club meets bi-weekly to engage in discussions, share personal stories, and enjoy literature that resonates with our experiences.

We’re seeking a Kindle ColorSoft and nutritious snacks for our members to enhance our sessions.

The Kindle will provide access to various books, allowing students to choose titles that spark their interest and promote mental well-being. With engaging stories at their fingertips, we hope to inspire a lifelong love of reading while supporting their emotional health.

Snacks will create a welcoming atmosphere, offer comfort, and foster connections among our members. Reading and sharing healthy treats will help build friendships and open up conversations about mental health.

Your support will empower students to discover new worlds through reading, strengthen their social bonds, and promote a healthier mindset. Thank you for considering our project, which will make a positive impact on our students' lives!
