Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will help to support my students' mental health by providing snacks and drinks like candy, chips, Gatorade, and bottled water.
A quick snack can make a huge difference—helping students feel refreshed, cared for, and ready to participate.
Many students come to school without eating enough or feeling emotionally overwhelmed. When hunger or fatigue sets in, it becomes difficult for them to focus, stay calm, or engage in learning.
By offering these small comforts, I will create a more supportive, nurturing classroom environment where students’ emotional and physical needs are met—because mental wellness starts with feeling safe, seen, and supported.
