My students are some of the youngest of our learners! Many come into my classroom without going to preschool. Many do not have experiences that you and I consider very routine! Our school has sixty-five to seventy percent of our students on the free or reduced price lunch program. Despite, the poverty that surrounds many of these children, they overcome! Our team (teachers, parents, and students) works hard to get these children where they need to be! I am so proud to be a part of this team!
These children come to me with very little experiences, but with a desire and excitement to learn!
It is my goal to make learning a exciting and something they enjoy, not a chore and something they dread! These children appreciate all of the experiences I try to give them!!
My Project
With your donations I will be able to get digital centers for the kids. I have been told that due to this covid pandemic my kindergarten kids will not be able to share things. This includes centers. I have some that I will still use that can easily be cleaned each day before someone else uses them, but they will need more practice centers. With your donation I will be able to purchase digital centers for math and literacy. With the digital centers of a child would have to quarantine they will still be able to do the centers from home, which means their learning and practice won’t be stopped!!
