My students are in kindergarten and attend a public school in a high poverty area. They come to school with high hopes of learning new and interesting things.
The Kindergarten experience will open doors for my students.
The time to prepare is now so my students will have all they need in order to succeed in their learning experience. These students come from an area that lacks a lot of resources so I am trying to make this environment welcoming and pleasant.
Now more then ever your help is needed to ensure that learning takes place. With your help, I will be able to provide for my students all they need this new school year.
My Project
Having the right notebook can make all the differences in a students’ education. They can enhance their learning experiences. They can promote a yearning for learning.
These notebooks will be used during phonics time, responding to literature and journal writing about their feelings and how they are coping with the new school life.
These books were picked because of the way they are designed. The students are able to illustrate as well as print their words onto the pages. The lines promote printing skills that will be taught so the work is clear and enables the reader to understand what was printed.
Notebooks are a must and with your help my class will have all they need.
