Notebook Computer Needed for Art History Class

My students need a HP Pavilion notebook computer which will be used with a digital projector.

This project is fully funded

I teach high school art in a very low-income district. I am trying to acquire technology to implement with my lessons, such as a digital projector, Smart Board, and notebook computer. I want to use this technology to bring more artwork examples and technical demonstrations to my students.

We struggle with a minuscule budget each year, and I have virtually no technology in my classroom. We are still stuck using pencil and paper. With a notebook computer, I could access artwork examples and movie clips about famous artists, and share these with the students via Smart Board and digital projector.

This notebook computer would become my portable Art Library - a database of still images and movie clips to be used year after year. It would greatly enhance my ability to bring meaningful information about the world of Art to my students.

With your help, I can realize my dream of having an art classroom which fully integrates the wonderful technology available to us today. This laptop will be one piece in the puzzle, and I sincerely hope you will consider supporting this project.
