This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach Spanish 2 and the Heritage Spanish classes at Moore High School. It’s an awesome group of kids with rich and diverse backgrounds, talents, and experiences.
Many of my heritage students are working hard to learn English and I love that they get at least one class period to freely express themselves and continue to build skills in their home language while connecting with other students that share this experience.
These classroom supplies will go a long way in helping them feel supported and valued in their learning environment.
